Alcohol Education Requirement at Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech has mandated that all the freshman students from the Fall of 2006 will have to take online alcohol education class. This class will educate students about alcohol use and its effect on body, if at all students choose to drink. The goal of this class is not to tell students if they should drink or not. We believe drinking alcohol is a personal choice. But by taking this class they will be better equipped to make positive choices regarding their alcohol use.
